They give a 5% discount for payments made in cash. They are the automotive shop formerly known as Rio Import Auto Center, Ltd.

He solved my mystery power window problem and didn't charge me for the extra labor when it reappeared. He also fixed a minor problem I ask him to look at "if it wasn't too much trouble" for no charge. It was an adjustment to something, but now I can't remember what it was. I've been there 6 or so times in 3 years (my car is 10 years old). Every experience has been good. Most important is the low key (non-existent) sales pitch. One favorite phrase is "You're not going to like the price".

The Honda dealership near my home told me the air conditioning in my (then) 9-year old Honda Accord was unrepairable and quoted several hundred dollars for new a/c. Unwilling to spend that much on an old car, I drove around in Atlanta's heat for more than a year. After a friend recommended Rio Imports (Chris, Val and Ed.), I happened to mention that the a/c was gone during a check- up. Mechanic Ed told me this was easily rectified with "Freon" which cost me $70. Bingo, my car was cool in seconds and drove like an air conditioned charm for another year until I bought a new Honda. P.S. The same dealership sold me a badly rusted second hand Honda Accord which I returned, complaining mightily after Rio Imports checked it out and advised me against going through with the purchase. I wrote to the dealership owner then president of Honda. (No replies!) Incidentally, when I returned the newly "purchased" Honda the manager of the dealership told me that "I guarantee you all the cars on this lot have some rust." I wonder how good that would have looked in their newspaper ads! Despite this, I'm very much a Honda fan. Rio Imports were recommended by one of the engineers where I work. These guys are great, but known for being tight fisted with money and anal retentive on car repair and maintenance. They certainly steered me right with Rio Imports.

Chris and Gordon recently did a timing belt job on my 2001
Acura CL, plus they installed new spark plugs. They did an
excellent job at a reasonable price. The car runs smoother
than ever. I will definately return to their shop for my
for my car service needs. Wish they were open on Saturdays
for quick oil changes and lite maintenance! Thanks guys!

I've taken my 1990 Honda Accord about 3 to 4 times to Rio
Imports for major repairs and also regular oil changes. I
have found Chris the owner and Val to be very honest,
competent mechanics. I regret not finding about them earlier
because you rarely find honest mechanics like these guy's.

I've been taking my 1991 Civic to Rio Honda since I moved into the area. I recommend them to all my friends because they are the best. I only looked at Hondas when I bought my CRV because I knew I had a place to take it for maintenance. Cheap guys like me really appreciate Rio Honda because they do good work the first time. I pay for quality. A buddy of mine took his Toyota there. It had blown a spark plug out. All it needed was to be skrewed back in. No charge. Don't buy Toyotas. Buy a Honda so you can take it to Rio.

I'm a do it yourself kind of guy, but whenever I need a
major repair done, I've always taken my 1995 Honda Accord
to Honda Specialist. Chris always only do the work that
needs to be done to the car and nothing more. I like the
feeling you get of knowing that you only get the best
treatment and workmanship with Chris without having to pay
extravagant prices from the dealers. Did I mention he uses
genuine Honda parts as well for the peace mind? He even
left an eztra oil pan washer for me in the dash when I
told him I do my own oil change. Another time he fixed the
loose knob on the AC switch without having to tell him
about it with no extra charge. It's these little things
that only makes you want to come back to the shop.

The first time we stopped to talk to them about our Honda
they told us what was wrong, what parts to get and showed
us how to fix the problem ourself. No one has ever
suggested that we could fix something ourselves before! I
am now a customer for life!

The owner, Chris, won my business and admiration when he
installed a part on my automobile and only charged me $5
for the work. It was a knob whose grooves had worn out in
the back. The lack of grooves caused the air conditioning
& heating unit not to function as the knob was not doing
its job of turning the unit on.
Since I'm technically illiterate, Chris could have said it
was something else and charged me more. He didn't and only
charged me the price of the knob. Not even labor.
