Tamara’s car dies if she’s driving on the highway in cold rain or snow. The engine keeps going, but the car won’t move. After she lets it sit for a bit, the car starts and is fine. This is a classic case of carburetor icing, caused either by a missing tube from the hot air exhaust, or a broken therm vacuum switch.
