These guys are great! Despite specializing in Scouts, they work on all makes and models. It is a business started by the father, Earl, who still works there along with his son and wife. They aren't the quickest shop, but they are cheap and so honest it's scary. I've tried taking my car other places (because of location) after Federal Valley, but everyone else is too expensive and not as friendly. Here's an example: I took my 96 Honda into a "neighborhood garage" (aka ripoff joint)because my airbag light was on, the check engine light was on, and I needed a tune-up. They were going to charge 180 to check the airbag light, another 180 to check the check engine light and I didn't even stick around to hear about the tuneup! Federal Valley charged $25 to inspect both of them. These guys are the real deal. Just be sure you have a bit of time on your hands to leave your car.

Great place, You would never know it from the location, but once we found them they have saved our family many hundreds and probably thousands of dollars over the past few years. Oil and brake franchises have tried to rip us off, but no more. If they can't do a job they have recommend the best so far. When we go there we KNOW we will not be taken for a financial ride.

As a single female - garages were always a nightmare - until I found these guys - having no backup vehicle - I know when I pick the car up - it will be running and the work has been performed - they use quality parts and will try to give you a break on the parts cost whenever they can - they have actually told me when I do NOT need service as well as recommending other procedures to ensure the car stays running well - I am currently in TX for 3 months, and I wish they were closer - I would make the trip to have them continue to service my vehicle

I found the information for Federal Valley Motors on this website when I needed some major repairs on my car. They quoted me a price $100-$400 less than other area shops. They took time to explain the repair and associated costs. They finished the job in a couple of days as promised. I would definitely take my car back to Federal Valley Motors. They are very busy because their prices are so reasonable. I'm glad to have found a reliable garage since relocating to Colorado.

they have been in business about 40 years. We drive 20 miles( a lot in a big metro area) to have our cars serviced by them. Once, when we had our Subaru at a specialist, we considered having the car, in parts, towed down to them (too bad we didn't listen to our gut feelings). They NEVER do unnecessary work; when they get too busy they put up a sign " no more cars today". The founder, Earl Sr explains repairs. Earl Jr. is a little more reserved, but a great guy. We recommend them to anyone.
