Once you get past Mark's drawl, you'll find him to be a pleasant, knowledgeable individual. Talk to him long enough and you may even be y'allin' and yonderin' folks yourself. Anywho, he does a good job, doesn't do things that don't need done, keeps repairs to a minimum and will tell you if you can wait on less-than-necessary repairs. His shop is clean, his handwriting is readable and he answers the phone himself.

Carquest recommended him as the guy to work on an '89 Toyota
Corolla that still had a carburetor back in '06. I thought
my fuel pump was failing, but he correctly diagnosed an
arcing plug wire. He then refused to replace the distributor
w/ plug wires that needed replacing.
"It only has three bolts; you can do it yourself." he
exclaimed. I did.
I will always take my vehicles to him & I am now driving a
'99 Subaru Forester. If he does not do the work himself, I
have always been happy with his local vendor recommendations.
