For years I'd been taking my 2002 Nissan Altima to my
dealer. Thought it would be time for a change but don't
know any of the local shops. My friend, Bob, is a "never-
miss" Car Talk show fan, and he suggested that I check out
their site for recommendations.
After reading reviews,I chose All American to work on my
car. These folks are great! When I took my car in and
explained the problem, they were really patient. Mark, the
shop owner told me what he thought, went through the
diagnostics, and did a 70K check up. When I picked up my
car, he took me outside, popped the hood, and showed me
exactly where the problem was. He also told me my brakes
needed to be fixed; however, that doing the front for now
would be fine as the back brakes were still pretty good.
Mark also gave me other information about repairs and
pricing that I didn't know. His wife also told me that
Mark instructs at a car workshop for women. They are
really proactive in ensuring that folks like me are
informed about what is being done to their car and why.
They also made sure I had rides when my car was serviced.
I will highly recommend these folks to my friends. Thanks
All American!

We adore our mechanic! He has worked on our car even since
we bought it in 1999 (we were referred by the credit union).
The only times we took it to the dealer they screwed up -
and All-American had to then fix the dealer's mistakes. All
the staff are very friendly, and understand cars that may
not be brand new (we have a 1995) etc. I'm sorry I can't
commend on what their specialites etc are, because I really
don't know.
As we have only the one car, I often had to catch the bus
out to Longmont (from Boulder) and they happily come and
pick me up/drop me off at the bus stop.
All the work has been completed on time, in an efficient
manner, and it always works! They are also happy to suggest
a couple of alternatives. My husband knows something about
cars, and I know nothing, and the mechanics are happy to
talk to each of us at our different levels, and I never feel
I am being patronized (as the female that knows nothing).
I have nothing but praise for our mechanics, and that's a
rare thing.

All American just performed a bunch of maintenance on my
Nissan Pathfinder. I am very happy with their service and
pleased with the price. I received more for my money here
than at the local dealership, plus they provided a detailed
estimate that was professional and typewritten. No
guessing what someone's handwritten notes said! Not only
was the final price very close to their original estimate,
but the time it took to do the repairs was also within
their quoted timeframe. I appreciate the time they took to
itemize what work needed to be done, help me prioritize the
work in case I couldn't afford to do it all at once, show
me savings in labor costs for doing certain repairs in
conjunction with each other and explain the details. Mark,
Kelly and Don took very good care of me and my vehicle.
I'd defintely return for any other service I need and
recommend them to others who are looking for an honest
group of people to work on their vehicles.
