I had a really bad noise in the right front end of my car whenever I accelerated. The noise faded at cruising speeds and on decceleration, and was never heard when the car was idling. Over a period of 2 yrs. I took it to several garages and spent a great deal of money replacing a variety of parts in the steering and suspension system. The noise was still there, and the only thing I could do was play the radio loud to help drown the noise. I figured I couldn't sell the car since no one would be dumb enough to buy it with an unexplained noise. I took it in to Goodyear for another problem. Not only did Larry solve that problem (a broken bolt on a ball joint), but he also knew what was causing the noise...worn motor mounts. He promised that if he was wrong, they wouldn't charge me for them. The car is quiet now thanks to Larry. Wish I'd taken it to him first! The other guys at Goodyear are great too!

I brought my car in with a coupon with a number of point review. They assured me that everything was checked. I drove to California where my brother owns a auto shop. He looked at the breaks and said that I was lucky to be alive. The also did an oil change and put in synthetic oil without asking me if that was what I wanted. I'm on a limited income and found out after I got home that the price of synthetic oil is very expensive. When I presented these facts to them they basically shined me on with hafe handed excuses; such as the mechanics work on a lot of cars and are tired and sometimes miss things. They made no effort to compensate me in some way. Stupid me took the car in again for a broken thermostat. A mechanic told me that they over charged me and that the cost to put in the part should have been much less.
