Sherman Ball has been a tech there for a long time, recently he bought the garage. He has been a great mechanic for us. Once the warranties had expired on both of our new Toyota vehicles JB Auto Service has done all the work on them (I hated going to the dealerships). He still did the oil changes although Once though, when I needed new struts for my old Honda I made the mistake of going to Big O Tires. About six months later the front end of the car kept making nasty sounds. Sherman looked at it and asked if he had put the struts on. Ummmmm no, he gave me a rationing of crap and said they didn't put them on correctly. My wife works for a large company and the fleet manager recommended JB's to us. He had been taking all of the company's vehicles there for a quite sometime. JB's does everything, from Lube, oil & filter to engine rebuilds. I've seen plenty of nice cars there and also some old POS's. He works on most everything. When friends ask me where to take their car I give them one of Sherman's cards.
