We found them when we first moved to Denver, and Safeway had fed our Accord diesel, and then lied about it. Imagine our surprise when a reliable car refused to start one lovely morning! Pro towed our car, found the problem within an hour or two, and had it ready that afternoon. Never have we even bothered to find another mechanic, as these guys did it right the first time (a first for me). We take both our Toyota and our Honda to them, and have for almost five years. Outcome: Love Pro, Avoid Safeway Fueling Centers. (They did eventually pay up, but we had to pester them for it).

Brian and the crew put in an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. I needed to replace my clutch slave cylinder, and I expected to hear about how they had to order this, and clean that, and expect to pick it up in two days. But Brian told me he would have it for me the same evening, and he was good to his word. Pro Auto had the lowest price of the four shops I checked, and they still gave me a discount for coming back to have the work done there. Bravo! Thanks Brian!

Brian is my service writer. He always keeps me well informed, offers deals I might not know about, and keeps me aware of things I should think about doing in the near future, or not worry about. The techs are all friendly, and happy to explain their work and recommend things to avoid future problems. Never had a bad experience with them in three years.

I visited this shop several times and based on my initial experiences, thought they were great. Then I had a problem with my 1990 Toyota 4 Runner starting. After telling me they fixed it, it wouldn't start again. Took it back, they said it worked fine. We did this 2 more times. Still wouldn't start. They tried to give me some explanation that I could not figure out. Stupid me, I bought a 2001 4 Runner. Had them check it out for a new owner purchase. They told me everything was fine, but just needed a tune up. Bought the car, then took it back in a few weeks, and they told me 2 gaskets needed replaced to the tune of $1300, and they could fix it right away. I reminded them they had just checked the car out and told me everything was fine. They gave me some excuse that perhaps the engine had been wiped down, and now they could see the leak. I did not pay to have that "fixed". I have since driven the car 5000 miles, and it hasn't leaked a drop. Based on my first experience, I just thought they might be incompetent. Now I believe they were trying to rip me off.
