Mark Jr., Mark Sr., Mike and Clyde are GREAT!!! They are
hard working, honest and reliable. They are a lot fun, know
their stuff and keep things light. They rebuilt my Diesel
Scout and it runs great! They have also done work on my
Montero Diesel conversion. Hard to get parts and still they
do it all in a timely manner!! I will never take my car
anywhere else!

I drive all over the country and rely on my 1999 Tahoe to
get me there. It has over 200,000 miles and needed a tune-
up, brakes, and tires... amoung other things. They did a
great job while I was in Boulder attending a conference.
They gave me a list of things it needed, and got
everything done when they said they would. They probably
are not the least expensive in town, but they do quality
work.

Our rental car (new) broke down in front of their shop.
Mark, the second generation owner of the shop came out and
asked, "Having a problem?" He test drove the car - it
stalled for him as well and determined we needed to obtain
another rental car. We were on vacation, July, 2008, and
it was during a heat wave in Boulder. They provided ice
cold drinks for our kids, without asking, and let us camp
out in their AC office while we waited for a replacement
car. Mark noticed my son's Duke hat. Mark, in his younger
days, was a high school all American who went to Coach K's
b-ball summer camp. We met the whole family. Honest,
helpful, kind and generous. They got nothing from us in
the way of repair work since we had a renatl car. They
were concerned for health and well being. What a great
experience. Thank you Mark Jurkiewicz. We sincerely
appreciate it. John, Kate, Lucy, Gordon and Margaret.

Mark's is slightly expensive...that said, everything is
fixed, everything works, and you never have to take the
vehicle back for the same issue. They are very good about
fixing cars with vehicle emission problems, going so far as
to get the vehicle inspected as part of the service. We
have two cars, a Ford Courier 1973 and a Mercedez-Benz 300
CD 1981. The Ford Courier provided my first experience
with Mark's and they fixed the emissions problem
perfectly. I gave up on my previous shop for the Mercedez
and took it to Mark's. They have fixed the problems that
were a constant source of irritation that the previous shop
always had to fix two or three times.
Yes, I am a biased customer because they are so good.

Pricing is reasonable. The shop is VERY thorough so one
often gets a long list of items that will need attention
over time. They are then very helpful in setting the
priorities for the work to be done.

I've been going here for years. I started as a newcomer to
the area on a recommendation from a coworker. It's time I
pass the recommendation along. They really know their
stuff. I had beginning drivers using my car and I needed to
totally trust that the vehicle was at its best. I always
felt safe with this team of mechanics. I wouldn't know how
to answer the question about how they handle a mistake. As
far as I know, there hasn't been one (and the first place I
tried in the area messed up big and actually tried to cover
up with SuperGlue, no lie).

I think everyone that lives in or near Boulder, CO, is very
lucky to have such a good mechanic right in town. I live
in Florida and drive my Chevy Tahoe loaded with equipment
for work all over the country. While in Texas early this
year, I heard and felt a vibration noise in the front end.
When I got back to Florida I took the truck into what is
supposed to be one of the better mechanics in town. They
had the truck as long as they wanted and said there was
nothing wrong. For the next couple of months I took it
back to them three times, and they never found the problem.
Fortunately, my next work trip was scheduled for CO, and,
luckily, the truck and I made it to Mark's. They were able
to find the problem with the front axle and did a great job
fixing it. This is the second time I have taken the truck
to Mark's, and both times they have done an excellent job.
My thanks to Mark, his dad, and everyone who works there.
They probably aren't the least expensive repair shop in
Boulder, but if you want it fixed right the first time,
take it to Mark's. I wish I lived closer!
