The first time I called Affordable Motors (aka Affordable Honda) to schedule a time to bring in my Isuzu Rodeo for a minor repair, Jim asked: "How handy do you consider yourself to be?" "Huh? What do you mean?", I said. "You're welcome to drive over and I'd be happy to repair your car, but if you have a wrench handy, I'll tell you how to fix it yourself. It'll take 2 minutes." I had my car repaired without spending a dime and Jim had a loyal customer for life. During my first actual visit to his shop (for an oil change), Jim popped my car on the lift and walked me through a quick look at everything. "Hmmm, your [car part] looks a little worn, but that's normal for Rodeos. No need to worry yet. Let's keep an eye on it and let me know if [symptom] occurs. Should run you about $[amount]." I like Jim because he's super informative, honest and fun. Once he said: "I could repair that, it'll run ya about $300, but since it's not hurting a thing, I'd suggest you just live with it." We've had Jim work on our car several times and have always been extremely pleased with his prompt, courteous service. Affordable Motors is just across a parking lot from an RTD Denver Bus Stop.
