I found these guys when my Tire-Rack drop-ship tire
installer retired and referred his customers to Pellman's.
Sure, they'd do the tire installation. A bit like happened
for Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruler of the Queen's Navy, I
edged my way into having them do more and more work on our
cars. They have been absolutely super. Friendly,
pro-active, personal, fast, fair -- they've been just what I
want in a car repair shop. E.g. they replaced a Ford part
(the turn-signal switch) when it failed within a year after
its originally being replaced; no labor cost, and I don't
think they recovered the cost of the part from Ford, either.
Another time, Eric (a mechanic who's been with them for a
long time) sold me an air conditioning compressor he had
lying around the house, for a lot less than I'd have had to
pay for a new one. This was just fine because the car's a
1988 CRX that I don't maintain in as-new condition.

These guys are great! They have satisfactorily worked on
my 1989 Acura Integra, 1996 Nissan Maxima, 2001 Audi S4 and
1976 Ford F250 4x4.
Always courteous and knowledgeable, highly recommendable!

I'm amazed that so few people have reviewed this very
capable shop. They've been good to us, helpful to us,
accurate every time, and reasonably priced.

I took my car in this week (April 3, 2007) because of a
weird "card-in-the-spokes" sound coming from the tires
whenever I drove it.
I pulled into the Pellman parking lot, and Dan, the
exceptional front desk guy, came out before I got out of
my car. He told me the likely problem with the car was
that there was something wrong with the hupcap! How in
heck did he know before I even got into the office? It
turns out that the owner, Brad Pellman, drove in at the
same time I did and told Dan that was probably what was
wrong with the car. As soon as the hub cap was removed,
there was no more sound.
If I ever move far away, I will try to find someway to
bring my car to Pellman's when it's broken. Pellman's is
simply the best auto mechanic service I have ever been to.
Dan can talk to people about their cars so that they
understand the problem. And the mechanics can fix
anything. Pellman's is not always the cheapest, but the
cost is not out of sight, either. And the shop is the best.

I have been going to Pellman's for approximately 6 years
now. I have taken my Jeep and Toyota and my Father-in-law's
Lumina to their shop.
I was sold when my 1994 Jeep Cherokee had 125,000 miles on
it and I told Dan to do everything the owners manual
suggested. He looked at the list and said, "This is gonna
cost between $700 and $800." I said, "Just do everything
they recommend."
Well, Dan called me at work and said that many of the items
on the list were fine and did not need to be replaced. The
total bill was for about $200.
These guys rock! I have sent many friends and collegues to
their business.
They are simply the best! Even my Mother-in-law is happy
with their service!
