Reliabilty
A little small. When we have friends in the car my 5’3” wife drives while my 6’3” self sits shot gun with sear forward.
I had a 1999 C-Class for 17 years. It had over 250,000 miles It was very reliable. The only reason I sold it was that my mechanic said that it was time. I bought another C-Class. Their resale value is low. I took advantage of this buy buying a lease return. I am looking forward to another’s 17 years with this fun car.
appearance and smooth ride
Used car check engine light came on within a week of purchasing. After parking for a hour car would start but engine would not turn over.
Stopped on the bridge after fuel pump was replaced 4 days ago
Looks good,pretty good ride
Engine light came on, computer diagnosed transmission range sensor, 38000 miles. Mechanic stated 2k to fix. Does this seem normal?
About a month ago, while driving, car went into neutral, turned it off, went back into gear, no problems since
drives really smoothly! I love that it's 20 years old but the engine and suspension still feel great.
I have long legs and it's not very comfortable to drive for long periods of time
The blinker only works intermittently! Oddly it seems to work okay when it's dry and sunny out, but not as often when it's wet outside. What is going on?
for a country like Ghana where I am using my car, the best thing is the the ironic combination of smooth-ruggedness and low fuel consumption
the noise and fumes typical of older diesel engines
a bit of quietness and less smoke
Plenty of pep from the 1.8L 4-cyl with turbo.
Dealer cost of service & repairs.
Dashboard has a minor squeak that comes & goes, and is the only real issue I've had with the car.
C350 has spirited performance and great handling.
Trunk space is small, and this model year lacked folding rear seats.
If you can put up with the cramped quarters and higher than average maintenance hassles, this is a fun little car.

Speed & hadling
Piece of crap and tires
Nada
Brand and quality of the German mark. It look nice and is very nice to drive. Parts are reasonably cheap if you opt for after market ones.
A little bland inside. Unless you are lucky and find one with all the extras
A c class is very much the German taxi and don't look too different from any other mercedes. I have opted for lots of chrome trim and a change of grill to make it stand out a but.
Reliable
Maintenance & repair cost
Bought from picky original owner, all work receipts in glove box, radio tuned to NPR classical station - that was at 40,000 mi, now has 252,000 - showroom condition with regular care.
extremely comfortable to drive
mpg
comfort and luxury at a reasonable price
Very solid and dependable.
Uses premium gas.
This in my second C240 wagon. The first went with my ex-wife. I'm at almost 140K miles and the car still drives great. Service has been reasonable even at the dealer.
The engine in my C55 is the single best thing on this vehicle.
High cost of parts and complexity are evenly split on the worst thing.
For a very reasonable initial outlay of cash (
Looks , comfort,electronics, handling
Nothing
this is my 3rd MB. I will never drive anything else.

6.2 liter motor
14 mpg
6.2L AMG motor is a beast. Nothing on the road today sounds better!
Handling
engine power
I have had it for 2 years and other than tires and standard maintenance, it has been great. I wish it had a little more power, but it is a heavy car and handles so well that you have to give up a little bit of nimbleness. Plus, I don't push the gas pedal hard enough. The fuel economy is about 27 highway. Not bad.
Interior comfort, fit, and finish are superior
Premium Gas
We wanted a safe smaller sedan with a smooth and comfortable ride. The 3.5L V6 has more power than we will ever need.
Comforable reliability
Take premium gas
Perhaps the best care I have owned. It is the 4 cylinder turbo and gets great mileage, good pep, and a joy to drive as well as look at.
