I have been bringing my cars and trucks here for years (15-20 yrs). When I was in business I took my small fleet of trucks to McGrath's. I've always taken my personal cars to Steve. I have never, ever had a complaint about his work. I'm a car guy, always been a car guy. Still, except when I feel the need to do some recreational knuckle busting, I call McGrath's. I send my friends there and always get big thank yous. I'm not saying that he has a magic wand. If your car needs a big repair, so be it. But you will always know that you haven't gotten hosed.

I take all our cars here when the repair seems significant. Over the years, I have always had great service. Frequently, they have save me money. For example, a dealership recently told me that I needed a valve job for $4000. I took it to McGrath's and they suggested adjusting the valves first, which worked and cost a couple hundred dollars.

This shop is located in a very small town of which we are residents. Owner is very knowledgeable and courteous. We own two cars one of which is a Volkswagen. Shop owner refuses to work on VW's so reluctantly we have had to go back to our old service shop.
