This is a small Mom & Pop place and it doesn't look like much, but the quality of their work is first rate and you'll be well treated. It was recommended to me by an USAF mechanic friend who knows his way around an engine. It's the place he takes his vehicles to when he needs major work done. You'll get an honest analysis of problems and recommended fixes. When I've brought my cars there for routine stuff, they have always taken the time to explain any current and up-coming issues. They also point out maintenance that I can do myself and clearly explained what parts I needed and where to get them... unlike the local dealerships who told me that THEY needed to do the work at a premium price + labor. I'm very happy with this place -- highly recommended.

The operation of the shop is under the watchful eye of "Bobby," an excellent mechanic and person. If you have an auto problems with various possible causes, he will discuss in detail how he and his crew will go about identifying the source of the problem, and what you should expect to incur as costs at each point. He has never done work for me without prior authorization or in any other way tried to pull a fast one. He will test drive the car after it is repaired to get a first-hand assessment of the post-repair operation of the car. If your are financially strapped and driving a car already on artificial life support, he will tell you flat out if the car can be made safe, or whether its time to put ole Betsy down, even if he c0uld have easily soaked you for a couple hundred bucks with fleeting vistas of hope during the repairs. He will also tell when a you will have to inflict a visit to a dealership on yourself for repairs.
