Jim Hansen (the owner) and Jim Johnson (the service manager) have cared for our cars for over 12 years. They are honest and never hesitate to explain what they are doing. If we have a question at anytime, they will always stop what they are doing and take a look at it for us. I trust them completely and have never regretted taking any of their advice on what is needed for our cars. I highly recommend them.

Found this shop on cartalk.com and am glad I did. They treated me as though I was part of their family.

From day 1 15 years ago when I stumbled upon Hansen's, I knew this was going to be the place that did all of my car work. I stopped one day to ask a question about a problem I was having with my El Camino. As a on the spot shotgun approach, the mechanic installed a new fuel filter. This did not resolve the issue; the mechanic removed the fuel filter and put the old one back in. Did not charge me for his time or the filter. Made an appointment right then and there to have further diagnostics. Hansen's has always been upfront and honest. They will tell you if a repair is worth thier time and your money. They will not replace anything without your approval and will return any part replaced. They will always take the time to answer your questions. On numerous occasions, I have dropped my vehicle off and said "fix it" and left knowing that I was not going to be ripped off. I have recommended Hansen's to several friends and they have been completely satisfied with the work performed by Hansens'. They have the vehicle ready when they give you a time. If it's done early, they call you. I have no problem recommending Hansen's to anyone.

I had an intermittant "check engine" failure light appear for about two years. I believed it was caused by a faulty oxygen sensor and put off doing the job myself. I finially took it to Jim Hansen and asked him to do a read out on my computor memory while the light was still on. He did and said his instrument indicated it was the EGR valve. He didn't accept that as the finial word but kept the car over night and did some additinal checks on the EGR vavlv. The next day he replaced the EGR valve and the "check engine" light has never came on again. I was impressed that he wanted to do some aditional vacauum tests on the EGR valve before he replaced the part. He said the EGR diaphram had a minute hole in it.
