They've been keeping my '88 Ford Bronco II alive long past it's expiration date. I highly recommend them for their honesty, integrity, and competence. Typically, I'll deliver my car to them in the mornings, and it's almost always ready right at the end of the day. I have no idea what they're doing from 10 to 3.

Gil and the guys have always treated my wife and I with understanding and care. My wife is always comfortable with taking the car to Bothwell's. They always offer options and personalized recommendations to fit our family's needs.

I first went to Bothwell about 10 years ago with a differential problem. The Toyota dealer wanted to fix the problem by replacing the entire rear axle assembly for $1400. Bothwell's solution for the problem was to repair the differential, which they did in-house for $700. The Bothwell brothers work on race cars, and I think it's this passion for cars that makes them a cut above the typical mechanic who's in the business only for the money. Call ahead for an appointment.

They have taken care of three T-birds ('84, '85, '95, that I bought used, each with moderately low milage) over the past 20 years, or so. I have rarely had a complaint. They are very friendly and professional. They schedule appointments that ensure timely completion, but can also squeeze in an emergency. And they are only two blocks from a major thoroughfare with several bus lines that cover a large area.

I would recommend this place to anyone, even if you have to travel a little to get here (say twenty minutes or so). They're honest, they know you have a budget, and they explain everything to you. As a woman in a repair shop, some mechanics try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars - I haven't experienced that with these guys. Lastly, the father of a friend knows him and says he's a great guy. Who can beat that recommendation?
