Nisstech is run by the owner, his name is Bill. He will go out of his way to make sure you are happy with the work he is doing and is more than happy to answer any questions. He even lets you get under the hood with him to show you what he is doing. He once lent my wife his own personal vehicle when he could not provide other transportation.

VERY accomodating when by son's car wouldn't start & had to be towed on a Friday-he needed for work on the weekend. They got it done earlier than expected, he was late picking it up. They made sure he had an extra key to pick it up after closing and trusted him to leave a check under the door. Great place!

Bill, who runs Nisstek(sic?)is really honest, hardworking, a sterling kinda guy. He actually works on the vehicles himself along with his small crew of mechanics. He shares information with the customer about the mechanical details of the repair work he does, and if you press him, he'll go into great and minute detail - he knows his stuff. His pricing is very reasonable, and he will tell you if something that you may have been advised to do by other unnamed, mullet-trolling entities is actually necessary or just a load of pocket-lining hokum. He has done work on my Nissan, Honda, and Mercury vehicles, saved me a load of green. A top notch repair shop.

So far only one repair; hence a lot of "I don't know"s. Was overall well pleased with this one visit, and hourly shop rate was much less than dealerships. In fact, one dealer I went to couldn't diagnose the problem--mal- functioning ignition coil over sparkplug. I will go there again if have any more problems. Thanks for the public service you perform. I feel so lucky that I found Bill Wallahan. When I first moved to Santa Rosa, I needed some work done on my Nissan Altima. I made a call to the local Nissan dealer and about choked when I heard the $$$ estimate. I called two other places, one of which was Nisstech. Right away, I liked the way my call was handled -- I already felt like I was a customer, even though I had never been there! Anyway, I was much happier with Nisstech's estimate, took my car in and was very pleased with the results. Needless to say, I will NEVER go anywhere else to have my car worked on. Additionally, if I need a referral for something besides what can be done at Nisstech, I have complete trust that Bill will steer (no pun intended) me in the right direction!!

Great find. I've been looking a long time for a mechanic who does great work and who I can trust. Bill will also take the time to explain in detail what work was done and why. If you need something replaced (rotors, plugs, etc.) he'll even show you the old parts. I'm very happy with the work they did on my 350Z (90,000 service). And he even had a loaner to use while they did the work. :)
