This is the only shop in northern California where I will have my car serviced. I moved from Santa Cruz to San Francisco and will make the trek back to Santa Cruz (over 75 miles) to have them perform all major services. Everyone in my family takes their Volvos to Specialized and we are all thrilled with the level of professionalism and quality work that Specialized provides. I only wish they would set up a satellite location in San Francisco.

These folks are excellent at Volvo and BMW service and repairs. They are very, very honest and if they screw up they will tell you, fix it, and not charge extra. I have even had them tell me what was wrong, that it was not a safety issue, and to wait until there is a real need to get deep into the car, as the labor is expensive and could be combined with another service at no additional cost. I highly recommend them.

I have taken my car to Specialized several times and they are my favorite shop for Volvos in town. They are very honest about the work needed, even going so far as to say that I didn't need to get work done because it was very expensive and non-critical! Their prices are good (for a Volvo shop) and I love the pick-up/drop-off shuttle. If you're looking for a Volvo (or BMW or Mercedes) shop I heartily recommend them.

I stopped by the repair shop on a Saturday when they were closed, but an employee was working in the parts department. He opened the door, invited me in, and made an appointment for me. He was professional and polite. I had my appointment confirmed by e-mail. I was reminded and confirmed by e-mail. When I arrived at 8:00 a.m., they were ready for me, knew my name, explained the work to be done, called me when the first test was completed and picked me up at my home when the car was ready. One part that I ordered arrived the next week, and they installed it as I waited in the customer waiting room. While I was waiting, I had the opportunity to speak to other customers and to see how others were treated. Men and women were treated with respect. I was a referral from another customer. I will return.
