The owner/mechanic is Chris, and he has approximately 35 years experience including approximately 18 years GM dealer experience. I took my 2004 Chevrolet Aveo to him for multiple problems: bad brakes screwed up by prior mechanics, a cracked exhaust manifold, and an erratic automatic transmission. He diagnosed them all correctly, and fixed them all the first time except one item that was borderline functioning--the Oxygen sensor. Chris told me it was working sufficiently well, it wasn't a critical part, and he let it remain on the engine to avoid running up the bill. Chris' knowledge and experience were inexhaustible. He would eliminate unnecessary repairs, find the precise problem, explain my choices and alternatives in detail, and get the job done right. His repair bills were actually lower than the competing shops I had been using. He also fixed my brakes correctly, and switched my brakes to better ceramic pads which worked much better than the metallic pads the prior shops used. On top of all this, Chris is pleasant to talk to. He made a stressful period of my life with a Chevy car much easier and I remembered him at Christmas time.
