Since I've been taking the same car ('78 Honda Civic) to this shop for over 20 years, my recommendation has gone from mechanics being able to keep a relatively new car well maintained, to mechanics that appreciate and competently care for an antique. The latest pleasant surprise is they've just started offering tire service, so I had the mechanic recommend a tire, and then I thought I'd shop online to compare prices and models. I couldn't find any tires online that would even fit my car! (It has 12" wheels.) There's no flash, no dash, just boring, reliable results from them. They tend to replace parts rather than repair them, and replace on schedule, which means their fix generally works the first time and keeps the car running well. My mechanics are generally Bill Sr. and Bill Jr. My car may outlast Bill Sr., but luckily two of his sons work with their dad and Bill Jr. has taken my Honda "under his wing" so it continues to receive competent care. Bill Sr. brings the parts to me and shows me what was wrong when I ask. One time my car was starting to get loud when the engine was under load, and he diagnosed it as a rusted frame cross member. After the repair he cheerfully brought the part up to the counter. It was this six-foot wide piece of rusted metal that must have weighed over 40 lbs. Another time, the car was making a tick-tick or click-click noise, coming from the front passenger side near the wheel, especially when cornering, and only on long trips, after the car had been running for at least an hour. They checked out the usual things but found nothing wrong. At my next visit to the shop, I arrived after I'd been driving the car for a while, and they took it on a test drive. After the drive, Bill Jr. returned to the waiting room with the chrome trim ring in his hand and triumphantly announced, "we found it!" It turned out that when hot, the trim ring expanded just enough to hit the tire rim to make the ticking sound. I should mention that this shop has a great waiting room, and they will work on your car while you wait (if you tell them ahead of time). It's like a small living room, with a big sofa to curl up in, a coffee table and interesting magazines, just outside the office. You are close enough to watch the mechanics and people coming and going, but away from the shop noise so you can get in some good reading or laptop work while you wait. Another good thing about this shop is it's small enough that you talk directly with the mechanic who is going to work on your car.

I took my van to them for Scheduled maintanence, and brake pad change. Their prices were competitive, and they use OEM parts. Gave me ride back to work.

I have these guys do all the major maintenance on my Accord. They know I like to do some of the maintenance myself, so they always give advice freely on the best way to do things and what the Gotchas are.

My wife and I have been taking out Hondas there for about 10 years. We always receive excellent customer service. Their prices are very reasonable and they do a great job keeping our cars running.

Always been impressed with their competence and honesty. Rest assured, you can trust these guys completely with your Honda ...

Excellent quality repairs. When I brought the car in for specific problems, they wouldn't try to fix it unless they could reproduce and diagnose the problem -- for me, that was both positive and not-so-positive...
