I've paid--and so have you--gobs of money in the past to lousy mechanics. You've been to the shop, paid the hefty bill, and a few miles down the road, the newly repaired part goes kaput. And you're thinking: not only is this situation terrible, the mechanic is a MORON! If you can relate to that, give Doctor Wrench a try. This guys is amazing! My buddy recommended him after he did an engine replacement on his motorcycle. My friend said he was fair, did great work, and really cool to deal with. So the clutch went out on my 2003 Toyota Celica. I took it to Doctor Wrench--aka Sean--and it was out in a couple of days and it was running great. But more than than, Sean kept me up-to-date by emails, sent me relevant photos of other problems he found, and he was really conversational and took his time to explain everything to me. When the clutch job was done, the car was overheating because of an air bubble in the cooling system. Sean stayed at the shop well past closing on a Friday until the job was done. Has a mechanic in your experience ever done more than the bear minimum? I met this guy last week. I just want to share with everyone who is facing a potentially costly auto repair where there is a mechanic who really takes pride in the quality of his work and in the satisfaction of his customers. It was a very positive experience.
