These guys are the best independent saab repair guys I've ever used. I have three saabs, and I trust them all to this shop. They are very customer oriented, and keep their prices well within the ball park of reality for saab work, which is routinely out of this world if you go to a dealership. I have never made a repair shop referral for any mechanic in the past, but I think this shop deserves it. If they've ever screwed up a repair for anyone, I've never heard about it, and most of the saab owners I know who have cars out of warranty take their cars there. The saab ownership ranks in silicon valley are well paid, no nonsense people who wouldn't put up with any monkey business when it comes to repair ripoffs. Go see these guys. They're really good.

After the dealer messed up my saab dan fixed it for a tenth of what the dealer said it would cost. this man's main concern is getting your car fixed for the best price possible. the one time he couldn't fix it he greatly reduced his fees. this man has saved me more money than he charged me. i travel 90 miles one way to have dan do my major services. he's the best

Driving a Saab is always expensive. Sooner or later you
will have to spend some money on your car. If you want the
truth, the honest truth and nothing but the truth, Swedish
Auto Factory is the place.
Their knowledge of Saabs spans decades. Their ability to
diagnose your problem is top notch. When they tell you XYZ
is wrong, you can bet your money that XYZ is wrong. No
wasted time, no wasted effort.
Among the Bay Area, their prices are VERY competitive.
They are also a "mod" friendly shop. So if you are
interested in getting a little extra performance from your
car, these guys are it! When I needed a hydraulic clutch
installed on my 1996 Saab, there was only one shop in the
entire Bay Area with the guts and know how: Swedish Auto
Factory !!

I started using the Saab Factory (now Swedish Auto Works)
for Saab service when I moved to San Jose in 1987. I
continue to be very happy with them; honest advice,
competent repairs, very competitive prices and now free WiFi
in the waiting room. They have also referred me to other
auto service facilities (i.e. body shops) that have had the
same characteristics! If you have a Saab that is out of
warranty, don't take it anywhere else. Dan is the best!

I was visiting from out of town. the Volvo dealership wanted me to leave my
car with them all day before they could diagonse the inoperative fuel guage.
Swedish Volvo said to bring it in and they would check out the fuel guage. they
were able to obtain a replacement and had it repaired in 2 1/2 hours. the price I
paid was less that the dealership and I was not required to obtain a loaner
vehicle. I am very pleased with their friendly service to some one from out of
town
