Far Performance 1932 Old Middlefield Way (650-968-2911) Sadly, the business has changed hands in the past year. Terry is no longer there. The old crew had a good team of mechanics, Fred Rosen was a good service manager. They had maintained my rotary Mazda excellently for over 13 years. Always honest, always willing to explain exactly what was, or was not wrong. On the one occasion they made a mistake, Fred ensured that I was contacted immediately and made good. Sadly, as noted, Terry has sold. The new crew is polite, friendly, appear to be honest [only two service calls] but they appear to have lost all the highly competent mechanics that were there under Terry. Definitely do not take a Rotary there for anything more than minor routine service, as the service manager freely admits his last Mazda mechanic left months ago. [Might have been nicer if BEFORE he charged for the service inspection.] They may survive, but the current Far Performance is not the same as the one that was there for many many years.
