I've been a customer of Pacific Heights Chevron for almost 25 years, always with old and inelegant cars in a very tony neighborhood in San Francisco. The men and women who work there are ALWAYS warm, friendly, helpful. They give complete diagnostic information and estimates, and stick by them. They call if a part is late or an unexpected problem has cropped up. When a scheduled service reveals a lot of work needed, they call and set up a list of priorities, doing the most important things first: the rest gets stored in their computer system so that you get a reminder that other work should be attended to. They totally "get" that we're not all millionaires with unlimited budgets!! They take the extra measure: I recently went in with a nail in my tire. On a busy day, they repaired it in under half an hour; they also adjusted the tire pressure in the other 3, checked all internal fluids, returned the car with freshly washed windows, and drove the car out the few yards from the garage, to deliver it to me. This was a 10 year old Toyota in a BMW neighborhood, and I'm always treated like a welcomed guest. Can't say enough good things about these guys!
