As a woman, it's hard to trust mechanics. John always tells me honestly when things need or don't need to be fixed, and in many cases, has saved me money by telling me when other mechnics were trying to rip me off. When my husband's car wouldn't start, we took the car to a local mechanic who told us we would need a new starter and it would cost us a few hundred dollars (on our '88 Camry). I got the car towed to John and he told me all we needed was a new battery. It cost me practically nothing. He's fast, always offers me a ride if I need it, and is just a great guy. He works on our cars, my mom's car and my brother in law's car (a 70 Valiant, 88 Camry, a 95 Toyota Corolla, and a Volvo) so I know he fixes a wide range of cars and we all love him. After trying to find a local mechanic, I'm now resolved to driving to Burbank to get my car fixed. He's worth it.

I've only been here one time, but will definitely go back the next time I need a repair. John really seems to know what he's doing, and was very helpful, respectful, honest, efficient, reasonable and just plain sweet. Especially to any ladies out there who are sick of being treated like dingbats, I recommend him highly.

When my brake sensors started going off big time I knew I finally had to get those front brakes repaired. John told me to bring the car right in (at 2:30 pm on Friday). He drove me back home and repaired the brakes. Bad news was sticking pin on left rotor. He got the part and completed the repair before noon on Saturday. Here's the good part, he kept my old brakes and rotor to show me their condition. The price he charged was very fair. Ladies, if you want a mechanic who treats you and your car with respect, I recommend John.
