The sales rep John who I met with was less than impressive, but he sent me back to speak with the master mechanic Rick. My car had a lot of little problems including the check engine light flashing. Rick broke down the whole work order. As we both stood over the open hood Rick pointed out each part and explained to me, a 24 year old female, how each part works and what exactly was wrong with the part. Then he pointed out the order of importance of the repairs. The price was definately high, but Rick was phenomenal.

I've been taking my car to these folks because it is the only Subaru dealership nearby. The service consultant guys are generally reasonable and the work gets done on time. The cost is relatively high. On my most recent visit, the service consultant was up front about the cost of transmission work through their shop, and helped me figure out options including going to an independent transmission specialist. This seemed pretty honest and helpful. When asked for a recommendation he mentioned only one shop that they use, but discussed both strengths (good service) and weaknesses (more costly than some).

Good experiences. they seem honest and upfront, even about the fact that they are so expensive. But no one goes to the dealership for a good price.
