The entire crew at Acur-It Honda Tech is highly proficient, caring and scrupulously honest. Though I originally went to them because their expertise is concentrated on Honda/Acura, I was reluctant to give up the trusting relationship we've had for the last seven years when we bought another make; they've done equally fine work, from major service to minor maintenance, on my Toyota truck and 4Runner. I leave their garage well informed of the nature of the problem/service and repair options, entirely confident that the work will be done expertly and on time. These guys are first rate.

We have been working with this shop for about six years. Their customer service is excellent and is the best we have ever received from a mechanic shop. We moved, and they are not conveniently located relative to our new house, however, we continue to drive out of our way to use their service. They are extremely helpful with advice, including sometimes offering low cost options that we can try on our own in addition to the service they perform for us. They have been very helpful with advice on which used cars to buy. Their comprehensive used car inspections have helped us avoid bad deals and get good deals. They stand by their work. We had a major problem with a car that had been under their care. We discussed it with the owner of the shop. After discussing it, he agreed that the problem probably would have been avoided if his staff had recommended that an important piece of service was performed according to the manufacturer's schedule. (We had a history of following such advice.) As a result, he fixed the problem and related damage free of charge, and the car has run very well since then (which was very labor intensive). If this issue had not happened we would have given them a 5 for the question, "They fix the problem the first time".

I recently had 2 motor mounts replaced on a Honda Element. The work seemed fine, but I questioned the bill because the parts pricing was about double the OEM replacement manufacturer's list price quoted at the local Honda dealership. In fact, the local dealership sells this part at a discount to the suggested list price. A regional internet price from Majestic Honda was even cheaper. I was charged $305 by the shop, the local Honda dealer charges about $160, and Majestic charges about $120. As I stated, I questioned this and I was advised that the staff "would look into it and get back to me in an hour". After another phone call and a week's wait, I'm writing this review. Beware!!

Over the years these mechanics have worked on a variety of vehicles for us, including several Hondas, Acuras, Isuzu Rodeo(aka Honda Passport), and even a Toyota Celica GT. We have always been pleased with the service, satisfied with the results, and able to pay the bill. I can't say any of those things about the local Honda dealer's shop.
