Jerry's (Daryl is the owner) is the kind of shop you hear about on Click and Clack, zero ambience, just tons of automotive expertise. I drove past the place for years and never gave it a thought until my contractor STRONGLY recommended the shop. Being ever more disgruntled by the spiraling repair costs and "creative" strong suggestions for recommended (and expensive) safety repairs made by the local Ford dealer (Future Ford), I gave Jerry's a try. One time and I was hooked! So far, I've had four different vehicles makes in for various repairs including a bad idler pulley bearing on my daughter's Explorer that sheared off and shreaded the belt, an ignition problem on my son's Honda Civic that Daryl diagnosed over the phone as a classic problem on Civics caused by a faulty distributor and a cracked exhaust manifold on my F150. Each time, the diagnosis was spot on, the repairs made faster than expected and most incredibly, at a cost far below what I had come to expect. I guess low overhead has its benefits. If you have an aging vehicle like all of mine and are struggling to keep them running safely at a cost you can afford, I strongly, STRONGLY recommend Jerry's as your solution.

Darrin (call him Jerry) took the time to diagnose the problem with our car carefully and determine what exactly was wrong before suggesting a fix. Another place we had taken the car to did a lot more guessing which we weren't comfortable with. Car was fixed within a very reasonable amount of time and a very fair price. Would use them again for our next car issue.

Great mechanic! Prices are fair, and he won't try and sell you work that doesn't need to be done. Will help you keep your older vehicle running, the owner is very sensible and honest! I almost don't want to share this information, because they will be so busy I won't be able to make a short notice appointment, but in this economy ,everyone needs an honest and reasonably priced mechanic!

I have a '95 Volvo 850 Turbo. In the past few months, it produced a mechanical snap near the fron wheels when I pulled out of parking spots or my garage, while steering. After trying two other mechanics who were unable to diagnose the problem (one charged $50 for adding some lube claiming it fixed it), I went to Jerry's based on positive comments. Darrin, the owner, runs the only honest shop I found in my life. He's ethical, personable, and goes the extra mile to accommodate customers' needs & schedule. He has three mechanics. The one assigned to my car was able to figure out the cause of my problem in a few minutes and fixed it for $19! It was two life-threatening loose bolts on a strut. The local Volvo dealership asked for $160 just to issue a diagnosis. I will continue to use Jerry's for future repairs and routine maintenance.
