Bill and Sam are father and son. They are awesome. Advice is free with all service. Service is honest, fair and timely. You can really trust these guys. I can not recommend them highly enough. The only negative is that they only work on Volvo.

Bill & Sam (father & son) have been taking care of my 1991
Volvo 245 for the past 12 years, taking it from 65,000 miles
to almost 230,000 miles. They know everything about these
cars, do great work, and even have helped me out with remote
diagnosis (when the car wouldn't start one time, they told
me exactly where to tap under the car to see if it was the
fuel pump, I tapped there, and it started!).
Even though I've moved farther away from Redwood City, I
still make the extra trip to have these guys work on my car.
It's worth it to have honest and competent mechanics.

Bill and Sam are great mechanics. They are well organized
and get repairs done on schedule and on price estimate. I
had a 1966 P1800 and they lovingly took care of me and of my
car. They are wonderful to work with. In the questionnaire
above, they asked if they treat male and female customers in
the same way. I don't know, I am a woman and they treated
me very well, explained what was wrong and how they fixed
it, taught me about my car, I hope they treat men as well.

This is a small, father and son shop, and they've been
working on Volvos forever. They know them backward and
forward, up and down. They've been taking care of my 1991
Volvo 245 for 10 years and more than 100,000 miles, and I
really trust them to keep it going for another 100,000.
