Emile was the most honest mechanic I have met. I had a beat
up old Toyota that he helped me keep running long after it
should have died.
I was referred to Emile through a friend and the first time
he worked my car I told Emile that I would have to bring it
back after payday for him to do the repair. Emile told me
not to worry about the payment right away because he knew
my friend was trustworthy and knew I would pay him back.
After a lot of rip-off mechanics, I was amazed to find one
so helpful.
Emile would tell me exactly what was needed to be done to
keep the car running, and would give me little tips on how
I could fix things myself. He would come out anywhere to
tow my car - even after hours, and when I became a long-
time customer, he started offering me a loaner car that I
could use while mine was being repaired.
I went through a few other cheap clunkers Emile helped me
keep running and they'd probably still be running if it
weren't for accidents. Unfortunately, I had to move away
from California a few years ago and I haven't been able to
find another mechanic that I trust as much.
