Al has owned his own shop for at least 20 years. He and his staff are formally trained and certified independent mechanics. They were equally knowledgeable about my new Honda and my 20 year old Ford van. Al is like an encyclopedia of automotive data. He's equally comfortable working with a person on a tight budget or perfectionist. Capabilities include general mechanical repair, suspension alignment, custom exhaust systems, and SMOG certifications. I know there's more that I can't remember. Al keeps adding new capability. They don't work Saturdays. Al likes his family.

This is a state of the art shop, using all the latest computer diagnostic equipment. Al and his crew are honest and capable, and have always (in the 9yrs. I have used them) stood behind their repairs without any hassle. Al encourages your questions, and will carefully explain what needs to be done, and what he has done. The latter is done on a test drive along with Al or his lead mechanic before they release your car back to you. Women are treated with respect here, and need not worry about being ripped off. A great all-around shop for foriegn or domestic cars.

The guy's at Al's tires to brakes, shock, struts, and most importantly, alignments. They are always up front about repairs and work needed, and they do a great job with alignments. They have troubleshooted several tricky problems for both my alignment and suspension. They are quite reasonable and trustworthy for tires and tire problems too.

I can not express my thankfulness enough for this shop owner. I am picky about my autos and this place did almost everything right. Only flaw was a misdiagnosis that was fixed 2 week later at his cost.
