After receiving the unfortunate news that I needed a new transmission, I ended up purchasing a transmission from a parts dealer, then searched for a mechanic who could swap them out. After weeks of horrible stress and price quotes in the $2000's, I was thrilled to find this shop and talk to Jack personally, who assured me he could do the job at half the cost. Not only did he fix my car in one day of work, but the final cost came in even LESS than originally estimated, and the car has run perfectly smoothly since (it's been a year so far). He took the time to answer my stressed-out questions, and had a lot of good tips about taking care of my car. I was highly satisfied and definitely recommend this shop if you have a Mustang.

Per its name, Mostly Mustangs works on Mustangs of all ages. I brought them a particular basket case (Mustang V8-powered Volvo), and imagine my surprise when I get a call later the same day saying they'd found a couple of problems which they'd fixed. Grand total: $45. AND, they both dropped me off at and picked me up from the BART (the commuter train) station. Jack, the owner, took the time to explain what they did, why, and what I might want to consider in the future. Graciousness and honesty are rare in this sector… I only wish they worked on other makes and models!
