I was really impressed with this place, and the owner, Mike Bott. I took my Subaru in for a 60,000 tune-up. Mike took the time to listen to what things I actually needed done and what I planned to do myself, and gave me an estimate that reflected that. I left the car there and went to work. My phone rang and the company secretary told me it was my repair shop. I steeled myself against being told that I needed to give them more money to fix something they found. Instead, they offered to change the windshield wiper blades. Great experience. K.W. Oakland, CA

On one occasion they failed to work on a small problem I had asked them to repair. Otherwise, I've been very, very satisfied.

Torchio's has worked on several of my families old cars- volvo, chrsyler van, saab (as a real favor). They often delight with lower than expected costs, are willing to point out must do versus good for the long run, and I have found them to be exceedingly trustworthy and cooperative.

If you deal with the owner, Mike, he's a great guy, and he is fair with pricing.
