I was referred to Steve Larkin [Luxury Motorworks] by Tire Rack, for an install of mail order tires. I was immediately impressed by his attitude, the cleanliness of his shop, and the entire operation. My previous mechanic [of 25 years] had recently sold his shop and retired. The new owners were unacceptable to me, so I was looking anyway. He has performed all types of maintenance for me over the last 3 years, and has never failed to fully satisfy me. They hand wash the cars at the shop - not just running them thru the local car wash. He always has a loaner available. He is a well trained technician and fully understands the complex issues that accompany today's vehicles. On two occasions I took my Jaguar back to the selling dealer because of complex computer issues. Both times I was mistreated, so I have something to compare to when making this recommendation. In addition to the Jag, which is the supercharged Type S, he does my normal service on our Viper ACR, Honda S2000, Nissan 350Z, and will get the work on my newly purchased Ford F150. I never have a second thought about integrity or competence when I'm in for any type of serviced.
