When it was time for me to buy a new car, my main consideration was that it had to be a Honda or Acura so I could keep coming to Stacy's shop for maintenance and repair. Come here to have your faith in humanity restored!

I'm just piling on -- This is a great shop in all regard. Let me sum it up by putting it this way: I have a 17 year old Honda - Stacey is more conservative bout the money I throw at it than I am, literally. He's the real deal.

I've been going to this shop since I came to LA and was fortunate to find it. My favorite part about this shop: each person that I've encountered has taken the time to answer my questions and give me details, so I leave more educated about what's happening to my car. And you can tell they enjoy their work as they have always been chipper and helpful. No unecessary repairs done here...they only tell you what you need. The hardest thing I found was... not always being able to tell apart the voices of the 2 brothers, Stacy and Charlie, when I talked with them on the phone <grin>. I just sold my civic and now I dread having to start over and try and find a new mechanic for my toyota, I guess I should have stuck with a honda? THANKS to Stacy, Charilie and Ken, you have been wonderful to work with! Sophia

These guys are great. They only work on Honda / Acura. Period. Don't bother going if you don't have one. And they know the cars inside and out. Used them for five years (always gotta have at least one Honda in the family.) Highly recommended.

These guys are THE BEST. Stacey and Charlie, the owners, are friendly, professional, efficient, and honest in how they conduct business. They always tell you straight up what's going on with your car and give you two estimates if available: what's immediately necessary and what's a long-term fix. I will only bring my Honda here even though I live 20 miles away. All the mechanics work on a commission basis and Ken is the best.

These guys are so special that I don't know where to begin. Our family found Stacy 18 years ago in North Hollywood. We have followed him to a totally different part of the city and will travel as far as we must for the tender, loving care he gives our cars. It's not just that, though. He's a really great guy, as is his brother. They are honest, sincere, caring, capable, extremely knowledgeable, refreshingly conscientious and AFFORDABLE!! They're as concerned about your pocket as they are your car. They have kept our '84 Accord and '88 Legend purring like a kitten and will soon be looking after our new hybrid. Often, what we think will turn out to be a giant repair job needs just a touch of something. Every trip is a lesson in auto mechanics. By the time you leave, the procedure has been explained thoroughly, often with the help of visual aids, no less! Most important of all… They are absolutely, unequivocally trustworthy. You, of course, know what it means to be able to believe everything your mechanic says!!!

I'd been taking my 96 Accord to the dealer - Honda of Hollywood - but literally could not walk out the door for under $800. After my last visit, when I was quoted $900 for some pretty obscure repairs, I brought my car here for a second estimate. Not only were the repairs $300 less then my dealer's estimate, the owner said they were not urgent repairs and I should come back in a month or two. When I asked if it would be safe to drive my car that long, he said in all seriousness, "If you were my family member or friend I would tell you the same thing. I promise I am not going to have you driving around unsafely." Really nice. He also took the time to explain the repairs to me in plain English - I know little about mechanics - which I really appreciated. If you're looking for a good mechanic...this is your place!

This guy is seriously the best mechanic ever.

I've been going to Stacy for all my car's maintenance since I bought it in 98 (it's a 93). I trust him completely (oddly, the last mechanic I had (for an AMC some years back) that I trusted this much was an avid fisherman, like Stacey!) Well, this day, my battery was just getting iffy. Stacey said it could go in a week or in an hour - the choice to gamble was mine. I explained I'd rather not spend the money right then if I could avoid it. I drove away and within an hour had to call AAA to charge the battery. I drove it back to Stacey who told me I could owe him the money for a few weeks if I needed to. What a guy! What a mechanic!
