Culver Motor Clinic has been a reliable full-service repair shop in the Los Angeles area for over 19 years. Their repair prices are not the lowest in town, but they rival the dealership! Their technicians are ASE trained, the shop is well-organized and clean, and I feel confident that the problem I came in for has been taken care of and I have not been taken to the automotive cleaners! Jeff Gillette is the Service Manager--he's thorough and looks for ways he can give you a break on repair costs. Here's their warranty statement: "Parts and service work guaranteed a full 12 months or 12,000 miles whichever occurs first, unless caused by accident, misuse, abuse or personal damage. We will repair or replace at our option any defective parts or labor. Any warranty repair performed off the premises must have prior approval/srv mgr."

I've found these folks consistently have excellent customer service. They take the time to explain the work that needs to be done, and what repairs will be necessary in the near future. Even though I'm a female with little car knowledge, they have not talked down to me and are willing to give opinions about repair options. The staff is personable, and they make sure the little things (remembering my name, bringing the vehicle to the front of the shop when I'm picking it up) are always right.
