When I take my car in to Tony, I usually take the day off because it's easier to wait there while he fixes the car than to get the LA mass transit system to work for me. The last time I was in, I brought a bunch of garlic from a garlic braid I had that I had to peel before it went bad. I spent 6 hours peeling garlic and by the time I was done Tony's whole office smelled like garlic. When he entered from the garage, he joked that the smell was going to keep the customers away (you couldn't beat the customers off with a chili wreath). I told him that any customers he had that don't like garlic aren't worth having. After he completed the repairs I gave him a bunch of the garlic I peeled and recommended that he make a delicious garlic and spaghetti dinner. He was really pleased. Tony's my car god!
