We drive two old clunkers. Not only does Tony keep them running, but he knows when NOT to perform repairs that don't matter any more on an old car, like fixing the lock on the trunk. The shop does the opposite of pressuring you into extra repairs: "I know your calendar says it's time for a tune-up, but you haven't driven the car that much this year; let's try it again in 6 months."

In 1998, after a garage fraudulently charged us working on our 1990 Toyota 4-Runner--big time--we found Abbott at this web site. We went there and the car was excellently repaired, each repair was explained, as was every item on the bill. Then, at our request, Tony was instrumental in our recovering our money from the other garage. Abbott has taken care of the car since and we're looking forward to another 120,000 miles!

I just took this jeep in to get it inspected for problems before I bought it (had to
be able to tell Dad I did if he asked lol) and they did a pretty thorough exam.
But, when we left to take it to the previous owner's mechanic guy I noticed the
left front tire wobble a bit around a corner and discovered that they had failed to
tighten the lug nuts!! not good. Luckily, we discovered it before the tire flew off.
We called and told them and he screamed at the guy who did it, but no offer of
any compensation or freebie soo *shrug* whatever. Could have been a really
bad day.
