The Swedish Mechanic has been in business for over 12 years and is the number 1 source for SAAB repairs in orange County. Friendly and helpful anytime you call or stop by.

My husband said an alarm on our Volvo C-3 indicated we needed new brakes. So, since we're traveling this weekend, I called another independent Volvo mechanic I found through your site which we have used for years, but he is always so busy he often doesn't return calls for days. So, I googled and found the Swedish Mechanic, Stefan. Based on testimonials on his web site, yelp and google, I took our C-30 into him. I was impressed with his professionalism and his sparkling clean shop, but I dreaded the prospect of having to drop perhaps $500 should we need rotors and pads. Stefan called to say new brakes were not needed: the front ones have 90% wear left, the rear, 40%. When I picked up the car, I fully expected a service charge, but he said we didn't owe him anything. Need I say I'll be going back when we do need new brakes?
