Tim has worked on my car many times. He is straight forward, fair and honest. It can be difficult to get an appointment because everyone takes their car to Tim due to his fairness and honesty.

Without a doubt, Tim Fincher is the most honest and customer-centric auto repair shop I have encountered in over 40 years of driving. He refuses payment for simple fixes and checks, and charges fairly for more significant repairs and service. He only does what is necessary but warns when something is close to needing work. He is a pleasure to do business with and a credit to the Healdsburg business community.

Tim Fincher is a car GOD!!!! He treats customers better than any other mechanic I have ever used. His prices are the best and his work is consistent and excellent. Dig this: we brought our daughter's Corolla in for a tune up and Tim noticed that a couple of the hubcaps were missing. When we picked the car up, he had replaced all the hubcaps at no charge!!!Brand new hubcaps at no charge!!! Unbelievable in this day and age. The last work he did for us was to change the timing belt on our Mitsubishi Lancer and he can get it done. All you Mitsubishi owners take note. I hate writing this because it may lead to more work for an already swamped mechanic, but he's just too great to not comment on. Keep up the great work Tim! Another reason to love Healdsburg!!!!!!!!!

I first found Fincher's on your website soon after I moved to Santa Rosa. Even though they are 15 miles away, they were the highest rated shop. My husband used to work on cars and knows quite a bit. Both of us are absolutley delighted with the integrity, craftmanship and fair prices. I have taken my car in and not been charged for a "minor" repair. One time, when he needed to keep my car over the week-end for a part to arrive, Tim gave me a bottle of wine one of his customers gave him that day, because " I didn't get upset and yell at him." The inconvenicence of the miles I drive is more than compensated by the trust I have in him and the work he does.

Tim is extreamly honest, which is a quality many times lacking in auto mechanics. Several times I've brought the vehicle in to have him check something. He checks it, finds it's something minor and fixes it for no charge. In addition, he is always supportive of local fundraising events and community activities - all around a great guy.

Tim always bends over backwards to be accomodating. His work is top quality; his mechanics are well trained and very competent. He himself is a superb mechanic and does all the work on older cars and trucks. If he has to farm work out (mufflers, alignment) he charges only what they charge him. To boot, he's a very nice fellow, and his wife, who's behind the desk, is always pleasant and agreeable.

Tim is great, he is extremely honest and thorough. The only disadvantage of his shop is that he is so well-known and respected that it can be kinda hard to get in. I tend to contact them a couple of weeks in advance for routine service. That said, I've had a few instances where I or friends needed help immediately and he always finds a way to squeeze in some time for "those in need". Highly recommended.
