Owner operator Matt Rose was very competent, friendly, professional, accurate and timely with the work on my old (1971) BMW 2002. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I love good mechanics who also have excellent people skills. Matt (owner) is one of those. He is consistently nice and very professional not just with me but this is apparently true with everybody -- based on what I've read from other comments about him in Yelp and many several bimmer forums -- his name always comes up in those forums! I've been to his shop many times, and he's very precise, smart and willing to answer any questions. He doesn't make you feel stupid and that's important specially when you're a noob. One time, I knew that my washer fluid was close to empty. I brought my car to his shop for control arm bushings job, and when I got home, I noticed that he refilled my washer fluid, too. Confused, I checked my bill and there was no charged item from him (I remember getting pissed at another BMW shop for getting charged 5 bucks for the same thing when the fluid only costs $1 from Kragen and I didn't ask them to do it). Matt didn't even mention the extra work. Another time, it was for a brake job this time. He upgraded my brakes without charging me extra, that's usually $50 more. He didn't tell me, I just checked my bill and did my own sleuthing. I did notice when I was at the shop that he spent a considerable amount of time cleaning and polishing the wheels at no extra cost to me, of course. To me, little things tell you a lot about a mechanic. He loves what he does and his passion for BMWs is what drives him to do extra work -- not for the owner but out of respect for the brand....and that's exactly the kind of mechanic I like working on my car.
