I've taken both of my Civics to Autopros for a year now, and I'm extremely happy with their work. They are extremely courteous, honest, hard-working, and on top of all that, also very competent. I'm going to move out of town very soon, and I am very sad that I won't be able to come to their shop anymore.

These guys are great. I found out about them on this website. Mike has always been honest and up-front about my high-mileage Civic. They have really extented the life of my car, and helped me to prepare for the inevitable -- a new transmission. I didn't think this kind of service existed, but this is it. I believe the hourly rate to be about $55. He charges only for the time the car is worked on. Mike was very informative about what my car troubles were, and explained everything very well. I highly reccommend this shop. What I really want to add is the contact info, which seems to be missing here: Walnut Creek Autopros 1520 3rd Ave. Walnut Creek, CA (925) 933-1050

I had my 86 Honda Accord serviced there for many years before moving to Antioch in 1999. I found Mike to be honest and concientous. I am still driving the same car and have found another good mechanic close to where I now live. I am happy to recommend Mike and also the new tiny shop Honda Appro at the Beacon Station on Lone Tree and Worrel Avenue.

We have used these guys for Honda repair. They are better
and cheaper than the dealer.

I found Walnut Creek Autopros through Consumers' Checkbook.
Mike, the
owner, is absolutely brilliant and one of the most honest people I have
encountered in ANY business. He analyzes and fixes problems that the Toyota
dealers are clueless about. I wish they had been around years ago when the local
Toyota service department couldn't fix my car after 21 tries (pre-lemon law). An
independent shop then found the problem in 5 minutes, so I was on the outlook
for the best independent shop around. A huge flaw with even the best dealer is
that the service writer leaves out most of the details in your description of the
problem so the mechanic sort of works in the dark and then you don't have any
description of what they did other than items on your bill. Mike always explains
what is needed and why and never upsells you on anything. He really treats
people exactly like he would want to be treated.
