M Service is terrific. You have to make an appointment, unless it is an absolute emergency. They are a great shop.

My relationship with M-Service started as follows: in 1996
something went wrong with the onboard computer in my BMW
325i (1994). At the Concord (CA) BMW dealer service I was
given an estimate of ~$900 for replacing it. Since I did
not feel like spending that much on my still new car, I
searched for alternative solutions. Someone mentioned the
M-Service in Walnut Creek, so I paid a visit to them, and
explained my problem. Dante Paulazzo (one of the owner)
had an idea - the reset button in the computer might have
been worn or something. So, with a glue he built a little
bump on the back part of the keyboard panel, and the
miracle happened. The computer worked properly again, and
since then I have been a devoted M-Service customer. In
the last 10 years not once I had problem with them. It is
a fantastic repair shop!
