Mark Monnig has kept our family "wheels" on the road for over 30 years and we've owned some real clunkers. We had six kids, six orthodontias, 72 years of Parochial Schools and six college costs to pay. Mark has a phenomenal memory. He remembers more about my cars than I do. He has never "promoted" more repair than was needed. He's always busy with other loyal customers so it's not always easy to get into his small shop. Recently my Ford Crown Victoria was stolen. Mark said he'd let me know if anyone came to ask about its repair history.

Mark is the best, most honest mechanic I have ever met in my 30 or so years of driving. Perhaps his single greatest attribute is, he only ever charges for what he does. If he can't figure out what the problem is, he doesn't bill you for the "research time," unlike some mechanics who in the past have used my car as a hands-on classroom at my expense. How good is Mark? I moved my family to San Antonio five years ago. When we drive to Anaheim to vist family, we ALWAYS have Mark check out the car. I like my local mechanic, but no one will ever beat Mark. Honest, competent, humble...yeah, he's THAT good!
