I found this shop by referral from a different Tucson Honda repair shop. I found the referring shop on the Car Talk website, and they told me right out that my daughter and her car, which at the time had a temperature gauge in the red zone, was too far from their shop to make it without jeopardizing her engine. They suggested I go to Parker, and I sent my daughter there. So Parker is well regarded by people in the car repair business as well as by satisfied customers. And these people are great. A family owned business that takes pride in its name and industry reputation. They know what they're doing, and they do it cheerfully and well. When I first discovered Parker, my daughter was a student at the University of Arizona. It's a great comfort to me as a Dad that we found Parker Automotive. I know they'll keep her 10 year old Civic on the road without me having to drive across the State to help her out. Every UofA parent should send their children to Parker Automotive. The service writer, Ryan, is a particularly reassuring individual. He's bright, articulate, knowledgeable, and polite. I know he's not leading me on if he says something needs to be done to my daughter's car. Thanks Parker! Thanks Car Talk, and thanks, Ryan.

Mike Parker, the ASE trained Acura/Honda owner, was the former head mechanic at a local Acura/Honda dealership. His entrepreneurship took over about 20 years ago when he opened his own repair facility to feature his extensive education on Honda repair. He will scour the adjacent states and the Internet to procure hard-to-find parts for older models that seldom wear out [read: Honda]. He also thanks customers by snail mail after each service. For the last 10 years he has included Toyota and Nissan repairs. Mike has four bays and 3 or 4 employees. His reputation is pristine and his knowledge extensive.

Parker Automotive finds problems in the initial inspection and informs customers so that problem can be fixed avoiding possible damage.

This shop is top notch. The gentlemen working there know what they are doing and go about it in a polite manner. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else!
