I started using the original Kelly Clark location almost 10 years ago. They take the time to check the car, describe the repairs needed, and give me a good estimate when they can - and tell me a range otherwise. I'm amazed they are not on your data base! They have great, competent mechanics. I've used them for several Buicks and Toyotas. They've been in the Phoenix area for a LONG time - still in business. They get the job done right, no monkey business, for a fair price. And they just fixed a ridiculously complicated A/C problem (vacuum switched air flow controls) on an old Mercedes 560SL that a German car specialist estimated at more than $1000. The mechanic took apart the entire dash just to get at all the switches, meet with me at the car to explain alternatives, and fixed it for about half the original estimate. And he also took the time to explain how the other repair shop probably did a pretty good job at estimating, rather than slamming them. I've recommended them to our neighbors, my father-in-law, my son, and people at work. They are a 'find'.

they have never used "bait and sweitch" i.e. calling and saying "oh by the way the brake job will require us to replace all your brake lights, pedals adn hand set lever and we've already done the work, take out a loan.

Kelly Clark has worked on Blazers and Tahoes for us for 20 year, and have kept each of these vehicles going past the 120,000-mile mark. We're both non-mechanical, and half of us are female, and we especially appreciate their thorough explanations, their friendliness, and their absolute honesty. We recommend them without reservation.

So I stumbled on to this place when my girlfriends car conveniently broke down just a few blocks away. Going to a car shop for the first time can be a pretty crappy experience and you never know what you are going to get. What instantly turned me on to this place is the way the mechanics directed their attention to my girlfriend instead of myself. They treated her like a logical rational intelligent person! Rare! I don't recall what the problem was but we were thinking about 500 easy to resolve the issue. Turned out to be only about 250.00 and the car has run great since. I took my truck in for break service one time, no issues at all, same great experience. Again they treated myself like an intelligent human being. A little while later I had some squealing, I took the truck back to them thinking I'd get all the belts replaced. They told me the belts where fine, just needed adjustment. Charged me a small fee and out the door I was. This was there opportunity to stick it too me, but they didn't! I really trust this shop. I highly recommend them for all of your car problems. The last time I had a vehicle there, I was trying to figure out how to get back to the shop and work out my ride to them. I called to get a better estimate of when it would be done. They said it just rolled into the lot and was ready to be picked up. Then they OFFERED me a ride! I didn't even have to ask... they just offered a free shuttle service. How cool is that? These guys go out of their way to deliver great customer service, great workmanship, and best of all they treat you like a valuable person. USE THEM!
