I have used this shop for over 10 years. During that time they have repaired a 1973 K5 Blazer, a 1979 Dodge Class C motor home, three Subaru hatchbacks and a high-end Subaru Legacy LS wagon. I have always been satisfied with the service. Recently I had a problem while out of state, and called this shop to ask the owner (a very competent mechanic who now manages his business) to talk to the service manager at the shop doing the repairs. Tom Blackwell did this, and also took the time to price the required rebuilt transmission and other repairs, and then negotiate with the other shop on what I would be charged and how well they would take care of me. (I've reported that shop separately.) Every service-related problem I've ever had (most recently squeaky new brake pads on a Subaru hatchback) has been addressed promptly, and frequently without charge. When this shop subcontracted service years ago, and the subcontractor screwed up, this shop made it right. This shop was originally recommended by a specialty shop manager as being reputable, ethical and drug-free. Over the years that seems to have been the case; the need for the employees to remain drug-free has always been an important consideration. The shop owner has even given me his home phone number so that I can call him at home when I have problems while out of town during non-business hours. I cannot recommend him too highly.
