I found Sunset Automotive on the Car Talk website. We took my wife's '94 Escort there for what we feared was a major electrical problem. However, the mechanics found and corrected a very minor problem and charged us for only the half-hour it took to do the job. (I had previously checked with another auto shop and was told that the diagnostic testing alone would cost more than twice what Sunset Automotive ended up charging for the entire process). Jack and Lenny are both still there, and they are fine fellows. I am recommending Sunset Automotive to two of my family members and a neighbor. Tom Butler 05/09/07

Efficient, skilled, and friendly, to boot! My husband and I have had Jack at Sunset work on both our vehicles and have been treated honestly and directly. We'll go back!

This was a fantastic experience! We found them through the Car Talk website. We thought there was some major repair on brakes and clutch that needed to be done. They checked it out and couldn't find any work to be done. I'll write back if this is not the case but I would assume a business would take it if they could! I thank them for their honesty.
