These guys are honest, good repair skills, and don't spend your money without involving you in the decision. What a concept! They obviously enjoy what they are doing and the customer wins.

Fixed my Blazer with Check Engine light on. Dealer wanted "about $300". They fixed it same day for $120. Very friendly.

I was completely satisfied with all of their work. I bought a used car which was not in good shape. They fixed it many times and did a good job. I finally sold it to them (They have a used car lot in conjunction with their shop)and received a fair price since they had done all the repairs.

I was really impressed by their honesty and competence. I needed the following work on a 2004 Lexus RX with 80,000 miles: timing belt, water pump, radiator flush and new antifreeze, new thermostat, two new radiator hoses, and three new drive belts. The dealer estimated $1500. Catalina's nearest competitor estimated $1200. Catalina said it would do the work for $685 and that is what they charged and the work was done in one day as was promised. When a couple of days later one of the drive belts started squealing, I brought the car back to have the belt adjusted. It took just a few minutes while I waited. That was six months ago and there have been no problems since. Also, their shuttle driver is a real fun character. I would hate to have had this work done in California where I retired from as I am sure it would have cost three to four times what I paid Catalina.

I bought a 2000 Mazda with about 100,000 miles from Catalina Automotive almost two years ago. I bring it there for service--only routine service now after more than 15,000 additional miles. I drive around town plus often 900 miles to and from Albuquerque. Everything on this car works perfectly. The only question I couldn't answer well above was how the shop handles mistakes, because they haven't made one.

Even though it's a 33-mile round trip to get there, I take our cars only to these guys, because of their knowledge, ability and integrity. They're not afraid to tell me I don't need a specific job done just to get the quick buck. I'm always comfortable with their diagnosis and work. I always bring home several business cards to hand out to friends and family. A great place to buy and service a car!
