Johnny and Bobby are "The Brothers Kent" of local advertising fame. While from their name, advertising, and the looks of the place you'd think it was mainly a tire store, it's actually a great repair shop with a tire store attached. Given what Firestone's been going through, this is probably a good thing. Johnny runs the business end while Bobby runs the shop. Every once in awhile, Johnny will wander out into the bays, until Bobby throws him out. Bobby occasionally wanders into the store, but he usually doesn't stay long. Their division of labor seems to work out for the best, especially for the customers. Kent's will do basic repairs on just about any make, and more complex work on most American makes. They always explain what they're doing and why. They're not the cheapest place in town, but when you consider the amount of time you're saving by not having to take your car back twice, they're well worth it. They have a couple of loaners they give out to their best customers. These loaners are not in great shape, but, as Bobby says, "If we loaned out better cars, people might not bring them back." They are always willing to give you a ride to work or home after you drop your car off, and will pick you up (or better yet, drop your car off) when they're done. They also have rentals available. We've taken out cars there numerous times, and have always been happy with the work Bobby and his crew have done.

They are very nice folks. Tires, alignments, and similar repairs are their strong suit--and where I've had very good dealings with them. They are not as knowledgeable about foreign car mechanical problems, and their prices are a bit steep.
